Ms. Dongsook Whitehead is a Co-Founder, Chief Instructional Designer and President of C4EIS. She also serves as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Connect For Education, Inc., an affiliate of C4EIS. As an author, instructional designer, and programmer for C4EIS, Ms. Whitehead has authored and edited nationally recognized, accredited, interactive web-based courses in music, languages, and public speaking for the higher education market and training materials for DoD customers. She has extensive experience developing and providing computer and web-based analytic tools and capabilities to support information exploitation, normalization, integration, extraction, analysis, assessment, presentation and interaction, including, without limitation, rapid prototyping, data analytics, and UI design. Dongsook’s main areas of research interest are the design and scalability of collaborative, distributed teaching environments on the Internet and the use of visual representation to teach complex concepts using interactive multimedia technologies.
Dongsook received training and education at the Graduate Program at California State University, Northridge in Instructional Media and Design, Graduate Program at Chapman University, South Korea Campus in Human Resources Management, and has a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Ewha Woman’s University.
Mr. Bruce Whitehead is the Chief Executive Officer of C4EIS. Mr. Whitehead has over forty years of experience in the Defense Industry with a diverse background of responsibilities including Analysis, Business Development, Programs Management, and Mergers & Acquisitions. His P&L responsibilities have ranged from a $15M Defense R&D company to $150M International Commercial/Military supplier of marine electronic systems. Mr. Whitehead has extensive experience in the international markets. Prior to joining C4EIS, Mr. Whitehead was an executive at various defense companies, including roles at SAIC as Managing Director of International Programs, Vice President of Special Projects (SAIC STS Business Unit) and President of of TFD Group/Systems Exchange, Inc.
Mr. Whitehead has a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from the Stevens Institute of Technology and Graduate and Professional Studies Degrees from MIT, Harvard University Business School, and Wharton Litton Executive Program in General Management and Leadership.
Kristin Choi is a Co-Founder, Chief Legal Officer and Vice President of Business Development of C4EIS. As Vice President of Business Development, Kristin is responsible for developing C4EIS’s business strategy and spearheading business development, client relations, and strategic relationships. Kristin’s responsibilities include identifying opportunities, building teaming arrangements, conducting competitive analyses and submitting proposals. She directs the company’s overall business strategy, and spends her time in business development, client relations, strategic partnerships, and spearheading funding initiatives.
Prior to C4EIS, Kristin was an associate at Hogan Lovells LLP and O’Melveny & Myers LLP, specializing in corporate M&A transactions and securities law. She also served as a law clerk to Honorable Robert Kugler of the District Court for the District of New Jersey and Honorable Zoe Bush of the Superior Court of District Court of Columbia.
Kristin holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Diplomacy from Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea and a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
